Don’t go anywhere else! Dr. Harper is the first veterinarian who actually took time and properly assessed my dog! Because of other veterinarians lack of effort, she was misdiagnosed multiple times and her problems severely escalated. Tuscan Ridge saw her problems instantly and is working hard to get my dog healthy again. To go anywhere else is a mistake, they have one of the best staff and arguably the best veterinarian of any veterinarian I have been to. Thanks to them I can say I am finally understanding of my dogs conditions and finally have a plan get her healthy and active once again. There is a reason they are the highest rated veterinarian! I’ve been taking my pets to Dr. Harper for more than two years. I have added 2 more cats to my fur family and they love visiting. My dog loves coming here so much he pulls on the leash to run inside the clinic. Every single person working here is loving and they give excellent care to both me and my pets. Really love Tuscan Ridge. Have been using their vet services and boarding since shortly after they opened. My pup have done day camp there and grooming for years. My kitties get the best care, even my 15 year old boy with health issues. Dr. Harper has the absolute best interest of the animals at heart. Her Staff is amazing and loving toward the babies. We have been taking our dog to Dr. Kelly Harper and her team at Tuscan Ridge since they’ve opened. Dr. Harper and her team truly understand that your pet is part of your family. Dr. Harper takes the time to evaluate the entire situation regarding your pet from examination and diagnosis to recovery and beyond. Her concern for your pet’s well-being extends beyond that to the customer as well. She always has time during an office visit to answer any questions, concerns or advice you may need when it comes to you pet. The Tuscan Ridge office is warm and inviting for you and your pet. My dog no longer has white coat syndrome when he needs to visit. It could be because Tuscan Ridge also offers Day Camp, Boarding and Grooming so he’s never quite sure why he’s going. It’s reassuring know that if something should happen at Day Camp the vet is in the same building. In the end, I want to know that my pet is getting the best care he can get. I want someone who cares as much as I do about my pet. Someone who is in my court to help me make the best decisions possible for my pet and family. With Dr. Harper and her team at Tuscan Ridge I know I’m getting the knowledge, caring and commitment that I want for my pet as soon as I go through the door. Tuscan Ridge is the most wonderful vet in the Triangle! From the moment you walk in, you can tell that you are not just a customer but part of the Tuscan Ridge family. We own English Bulldogs and they often need special care and attention and we require a vet that has experience with the breed. Dr. Kelly takes the time to answer all of our questions and understands the unique challenges of being an English Bulldog owner. THANK YOU for saving our dog’s life. More than once… Our family is so very appreciative of Dr. Harper and her team. They have taken care of our Sheltie dog (Daisy), orange tabby cat (Charlie), and Great Pyrenees dog (Tanner) for more than a decade. Such a knowledgeable, caring and friendly staff. Dr. Harper at Tuscan Ridge Animal Hospital did not disappoint! She and her staff made my dog, Chica, my 1 year old son, and me feel right at home. She spent a lot of time with us, listening and collaborating about my dog’s complex medical conditions. Chica was given lots of love and liver treats freshly topped with squeeze cheese. Chica was examined while sunbathing on a beautifully upholstered love seat. I am thankful to have found a great vet in the town of Wake Forest.

Tuscan Ridge is an absolutely wonderful veterinary practice. Dr. Harper is warm, down to earth, and careful to explain everything, all while she is thoroughly charming her patients! Every member of her team is friendly and down to earth, and it’s quite obvious all are genuine animal lovers. Another great feature: the examination rooms feel more like comfortable living areas as opposed to typical stainless steel/cold/intimidating examination rooms that might be off-putting to your pet. I recommend Dr. Kelly Harper and her staff without reservation. Oh – one last point: our Australian Labradoodle Daisy LOVES going to the vet! What more of a recommendation could I offer?

Not only is the staff knowledgeable, helpful, positive-but the facility is great for people and dogs! I could talk about how pretty the facility is, how safe for the dogs the grounds are, how knowledgeable/great Dr. Harper and the staff are…but the real reason I entrust my “kids” to these guys is that- the staff tells you stories about your dog that only someone who spends time and cares about the animal would know, I’ve seen tears when they talk about a client who is sick, they accommodate each dog’s personality and the whole staff is helpful/informative. I’ve had dogs all my life and Tuscan Ridge is truly a place and team of people that go above and beyond for your furry family member!

Dr. Harper and her staff are simply amazing. They took wonderful care of the dog I inherited and never knew I wanted. He had several issues from the start and Dr. Harper took wonderful care of him.. My seeet Max suddenly became very ill this summer and needed a visit to the emergency vet hospital where we learned that he was going to need a very risky surgery that he may not even survive. We chose to end his suffering. Dr. Harper insisted that he be with herself and the rest of the Tuscan Ridge family for this. She even offered to come to my home. She wanted Max to be surrounded by those that loved him so he would feel more at ease! You do not find this type of care everywhere. We will be getting a puppy in November and I cannot wait for Dr. Harper and the rest of the Tuscan Ridge family to meet him! Bring your pets here, you will not be disappointed!

Best vet I have been to! The staff is so caring and takes their time with you, making sure to answer all your questions. The vet really took a lot of time to get to know my cat and answer all my questions, thoroughly reviewed her past records, but did not charge anything beyond an average office visit charge, plus necessary ear cytology and medication. She diagnosed the most likely explanation for my cat’s ear problems after doing cytology (and that coming up clean – she had previously had an ear infection), minor allergy, and gave an easy option to treat them (ear drops, Zyrtec), which is working well. What I really liked is that she doesn’t prescribe meds that are unnecessary: other vets have told me with an indoor cat you still have to put pesticide on them to keep fleas and ticks off; this vet told me how unnecessary that is unless you have another pet that’s bringing in those kinds of parasites, which I don’t. I don’t want to put any chemicals on my cat if I don’t have to. The office environment looks and feels more like a home than a vet office including the rooms. It does not smell like your typical vet office (no wet dog smell). They have two very sweet resident cats who are great around other animals… my cat was so relaxed around the male one (Macon) who came up and sniffed her carrier, and she does not live with other animals.

Dr. Kelly Harper is the best diagnostician I have ever met. She diagnosed a tumor in our cat’s nasal cavity that three other veterinarians, including VSH Raleigh, misdiagnosed. She and her staff genuinely love animals, and it shows in the quality of care provided to each patient. My husband and I adopt ill and abused animals because we believe they deserve great lives. We couldn’t do that without an excellent veterinarian, and we found that excellence in Dr. Harper and Tuscan Ridge Animal Hospital.
