Choosing A Cat Tower

If you have a senior cat, get something that’s easy for your pet to get on and off, and offers lots of comfy napping spots. Sometimes cats stop using their towers. The first thing you want to do if this happens is clean it. Give it a good vacuuming. Steam cleaning is even better. If your cat has started thinking of it as part of the background, this may help rekindle her interest. You can also give your furball toys and catnip near it. If you like making things, you can actually make your furry pal a tower. One option is to upcycle an old stepladder. Add smooth planks to the steps to widen them out. Then, wrap the whole thing in carpet or sisal rope. You can also make cat towers out of storage racks, bookcases, or even real branches. If you’re handy with tools, you can make one from scratch using lumber or PVC pipe. Look online for ideas and instructions.
